We have decided where we are going next on our trip! After having stayed two weeks in the Montreal area, which we have been enjoying a lot, it is time to discover more of Canada and the U.S!

We will start by making a mini road-trip Southwards to see Ottawa, Kingston, Toronto and the Niagara Falls, in the last week of June.

Then from the beginning of July we are heading to the U.S! We are renting a car and driving all the way down to Florida. It is a total of 3000 km, which will probably take us about two weeks, since we don’t want to drive more than 2-3 hours a day and we also want to enjoy the places we find along the way. We don’t know our exact route yet, and will be booking AirBnB’s, hotels or motels last-minute. From mid-July we will be staying some time in Pompano beach, Florida (see the red pin on the map below), in an apartment that friends are generously offering us to stay in since they will not be there this summer. Can’t wait to have a relaxing and sunny stay there!

We still have to decide where we are going after Florida, but it is nice to already know our first big part of the trip. And I still have to look into where we want to stop on the way to Florida, there are many possibilities which makes it hard to choose!
